NorthWestern Energy Dedicates New Spion Kop Wind Farm

NorthWestern Energy held an official dedication for its new 40-megawatt wind farm, Spion Kop, on July 9. According to a report in the Great Falls Tribune, the facility, which began operating in December, is capable of supplying enough electricity for 400 to 600 homes. “The wind here to date has been better than we had even hoped for,” said a utility representative.
